Data deletion
Delete it yourself, any time
Sign in, open Account, and choose "Delete my account". Type DELETE to confirm. It happens straight away; there is no waiting period and nothing to email.
Want a copy first? "Download my data" on the same page gives you everything we hold about you.
What gets deleted
Your profile, username, name, neighbourhood and sign-in, including the link to Apple, Google or Facebook if you used one.
Your name, phone number and address on every past order.
If you curate: your shop page, bio, WhatsApp, Instagram and photo, and every unsold piece along with its photos.
What we have to keep
Past orders stay as invoices (pieces, amounts and Razorpay payment ids) because tax and refund rules require it. They are no longer linked to you or to anything that identifies you.
Pieces you already sold as a curator stay in their buyers' order history, without your shop attached.
When we can't delete straight away
If an order of yours is still on its way, or a buyer is waiting on a piece you sold, deletion waits until it's delivered or tracked. Your account page tells you which.
Signed in with Facebook, Google or Apple?
Deleting your Twift account removes everything we got from them. To also stop Twift appearing in their settings, remove it there: Facebook under Settings → Apps and websites, Google under your Google Account → Security → Third-party connections, Apple under Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple.
Removing Twift there alone doesn't delete your Twift account. Do both, or ask us.
Can't sign in? Ask us
Message us from the email or phone number on your account and say you'd like your Twift data deleted. We'll confirm it's you, delete it within 7 days and let you know when it's done.
