Privacy policy

The short version

We keep the least we can, for the shortest time we can. We don't sell anything about you, show you ads or use trackers. You can download or delete your data any time from your account.

Location

We only ever store a neighbourhood (like Adyar), never an exact location. "Near me" asks your phone for an approximate position, turns it into a neighbourhood on the phone itself, and forgets it. Your coordinates are never sent to us.

Curators' shops show their neighbourhood only. Photos lose their hidden location and camera data before they're stored.

Phone and address

Your mobile number and address are stored on the order they're for, and nowhere else. We don't keep them on your profile. Your browser's own autofill can fill them in next time.

The curator sending your piece sees your name, number and address only until they post it, then just your first name. The delivery partner gets what's needed to reach you.

Once an order is delivered and its 30-day returns and refunds window has passed, we erase your name, number and address from it. Unpaid or cancelled orders are erased after a day.

What you spend

Only you and Twift see your orders and totals. Curators never see what you paid, your other pieces or your payment details. Amounts and payment ids are kept, without your details attached once erased, because invoices and refunds legally need them.

Payments are handled by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI PIN or bank details.

"Picked for you" on the home page is worked out from your own orders each time you visit, on our server, and shown only to you. No taste profile is saved, nothing is shared, and deleting your account leaves nothing to learn from.

Your account

We keep your email (to sign you in), the name you choose, your neighbourhood if you set one, and your order history. Your Apple, Google or Facebook profile photo is never published.

Curators choose whether to show a WhatsApp number or Instagram handle. Neither is required.

Your choices

From your account you can download everything we hold about you, or delete your account. Deleting removes your sign-in and saved details for good; past orders remain only as invoices with your details erased.
